CTGR Collaborative Work - For Staff and Parents

In 2017 Scappoose School District (SSD) and the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde (CTGR) entered into a Memorandum of Agreement to allow our district to keep our "Indians" mascot.  This collaboration was developed with a mission to create a common story from an accurate shared history manifesting from tribal curriculum being used in our schools. Below are resources for students, staff and families to engage in for a more accurate and informed understanding of the Indigenous People from our region including their culture, community, and customs.
